4x09 Back In Black--Recap

This episode is a perfect continuation to the events of the last and opens up the following Monday. The media is still having a field day with the shooting and I’m honestly shocked there wasn’t a circus like this from the fallout of other major dramatic events that have occurred in the series.  Sean and Ellie are looking at all the papers talking about the shooting and branding Sean a hero for preventing Rick for continuing his rampage.

4x07/08 Time Stands Still -- recap

This is it……this is one of the biggest most epic episodes that would be on my must watch list for those who are just getting into the series but don’t want to sit and re watch them all like I am doing right now.

The episode opens as Rick is coming home from school and Spinner whose curls are gone and replaced with his ‘skater’ doo and Jimmy approach. They comment on Rick’s hat and then toss it in the dumpster before tossing Rick in after it.

 The episode opens and it looks as if Paige has finally landed herself a job. She’s waitressing at the Dot….horribly only making 67 cents in tips and ending up getting herself fired.

The episode begins as various students including Spinner, Paige, Alex and Emma are on the front steps of the school when they see Rick and his mom pulling up. After what happened last year Rick is re-enrolling at Degrassi and he’s back in Grade ten (Emma’s grade) and it’s stated something has to be done.

Paige’s parents are planning to go away for the weekend and have given her use of the van (so it’s implied that they all must of passed the driving test they were planning to take huh). Terri doesn’t want to go because she doesn’t want to be a fifth wheel and Paige says she won’t but if it worries her then bring someone else.

3x10 Never Gonna Give You Up RECAP

I didn’t go off and rant during his first appearance because I wanted to focus on the A plot but I can’t stand Rick at all. Sure in the last episode he showed up he seemed all adorkable and romantic sending the letters to Terri however in this episode and for the remainder of his arch in this and the next season I couldn’t stand him and I think of all the antagonists the series has had he’s the one I loathe the most.

Anyway the episode opens with Rick as well as Terri, Hazel, Jimmy, and Marco in the auditorium as they are doing scene studies and will be doing an original piece by Marco. Marco wants to act so Jimmy is appointed director much to Rick’s dismay. Rick is told he can be stage manager and nods. Terri meanwhile is the lead and doesn’t think she’s good enough despite Rick’s assurance.

3x08 Whisper To A Scream RECAP

Before I go on I just want to say this episode I know is triggering to allot of people I know and so I will try my best to scale back on the sarcastic jibes that are interlaced with my recaps….

The episode opens with Ellie at a base as her father is being deployed to Afghanistan on a piece keeping mission. Looking over to her mom her dad comments she’ll be fine she has things under control hinting that something isn’t right with her. As Ellie tells her it will be all right her mom coldly tells her to just shut up smile and wave.
