13x12 Everything You Want:

Miles and Tristan are playing basketball and Dallas who I assume is captain approaches Miles telling him he’s being bumped to starter. Tristan is incredibly happy for Miles and is glad he doesn’t have to take drugs anymore. Miles says he needs them and the other boys want some too. Tristan doesn’t want to be a drug dealer and Miles says he won’t nark and say WHO he got them from so long as he gets them.

WHATEVER IT TAKES

Clare tells Alli she has good news, she figured out how to get out of publishing the article by saying she got a better offer and then she can just get something published later for her Columbia profile.

Becky thanks Imogen again for letting her help with Degrassi TV. It’s been hard since Adam died because he was one of her only friends. She asks Imogen why Adam wanted to call her so badly since Imogen is an honest person and she won’t sidestep things however she does telling Becky to get back to work on making graphics for the news show.

Clare is at a doctor’s appointment freaking out that she possibly has a brain tumor. The doctor tells her she’s cancer free however she’s experiencing side effects from her chemo and that she should slow down and relax.possibly take yoga. The doctor says there is no treatment and that it could take anywhere in the range of a few weeks to a few years before her brain is back to 100%.

Dallas confronts Tristan saying how someone is dealing roids and he knows its Tristan especially as he just dropped pills. There are drug tests and if the team tests positive things will be bad. Tristan assures Dallas he’s been dealing Vitamin D this whole time and Dallas comments how Miles will figure it out when he passes his drug test.

Clare tells Alli she’s not sick but has chemo brain and will never get into Columbia now especially since she just got a 65 on whatever paper she just got back. She decides to possibly turn in the article lies and all because it might be the last substantial thing she ever writes.

Imogen can’t work with Becky because she’s full of guilt about kissing Adam which led to him texting and driving and dying. She doesn’t know how to tell Becky about the truth if she should tell her and it’s eating her up inside.

Clare meets with Meredith who loved the article on Zoe and tells Clare she has potential to be a monthly columnist at the magazine but first Zoe needs to come and fact check things taking Clare aback.

Tristan tells Miles he can’t give the pills out however Miles says it’s too late. Tristan admits the pills were fakes and Miles is upset because now he’ll be a disappointment to the team just like he is to his father. Miles storms off and Maya asks what’s wrong and comments how it’s not like Tristan took Zoe’s advice to give Miles fake steroids which he totally did. Maya reminds him reenacting West Drive plots is never the answer and Tristan vows to find a way to set things right.

Zoe reads the article and rolls her eyes. She looks like a looser and tells Clare she’s fine with some of the lies however she doesn’t want to look all pathetic. Clare plays the cancer card and Zoe rolls her eyes.

Winston is doing a piece and Imogen says how he was too awesome she forgot to press record. Drew asks where Becky was and Imogen says she’s okay without her and plans on being passive on things however Drew convinces her to do the right thing.

Clare wants Alli to call the magazine pretending to be Zoe to say that Clare is telling the truth. Clare is worried that she’s going to be dumb and bomb senior year and getting into College. Alli says what about the telling Meredith she got a better offer idea and Clare says she got into this mess by lying she doesn’t wish to dig a bigger hole.

Speaking of lies or in this case half the truth, Imogen tells Becky Adam wanted to text her that night because he missed her. Becky was worried if it was because they were fighting and Imogen says he wanted to hear her voice and how he loved her. Becky gives Imogen a hug and thanks her before Imogen offers Becky a job as being Winston’s co-anchor.

Clare tells Meredith that Zoe is not coming and comes clean that she fabricated things cause Zoe didn’t tell her anything interesting. She says she was supposed to spend the summer doing amazing things but she got cancer and she worries it’s going to come back and she just wanted to do something before it does. Meredith says writers never recover from scandals like that but that things will stay between them. Clare is a brilliant writer and that she has achieved something by beating cancer.

Tristan tells the team he was the supplier and he heard there were drug tests and so he’s giving them pills to flush out the toxins. She tells Miles once the team left the flushers are really B12. Miles comments about how he feels accomplished for making the team on his own thanks to the placebo effect and Dallas comments how while Tristan isn’t as strong an athlete as Owen was he’s most defiantly smarter.

Alli gets a text from Clare to meet her up wearing comfortable cloths and Clare tells Alli she’s taking her to YOGA club. She’s re-taking her SATs and so she needs to cleanse her mind and she plans to write about her cancer for her admission essay and in the meantime she wants to live her life to the fullest YOLO after all.
