13x13 Who Do You Think You Are

The episode opens with Maya singing a song so right there this sets the pace for what the episode is going to be about. Tristan whispers that Zoe looks a bit green and she shakes her head, jealous of Maya…never. Maya is praised on her songwriting assignment by the teacher and Tristan and Zoe also praise her. Miles doesn’t have anything to say but instead tells her he’s got two tickets to a concert. Maya loves the artist but is a bit cold saying she’ll get back to him.

WHATEVER IT TAKES

Tristan asks when the big date with Miles is and Maya says it’s TBD she wants to focus on music. Tristan comments about how she’s only been in one relationship and while that ended tragically it doesn’t mean she should give up. Maya is worried that being with Miles will ruin her friendship with Zoe. Zoe then comes in offering to help Maya shoot a music video, she has connections and they can maybe even use the West Drive set.

Drew is getting ready to present a history presentation and Dallas is MIA. Imogen tells him he just saw Dallas leave with a girl and Drew lies saying Dallas is sick. He’s missed six classes in the past couple of weeks and Mr. P tells Drew if Dallas isn’t there the following day both boys will fail which sucks because Drew is trying his hardest to get his shit together.

Alli sucks at English and while she doesn’t need English to cure cancer if she wants to get into MIT again (since you know she rejected the offer she’d been given and now has to formally apply) she needs to get higher SAT scores. Clare offers to help quiz her before school the next day but Alli has a breakfast day with Leo who has been swamped. Clare says how at least Leo is in the same city and Eli is miles away.

Maya pitches an idea of her dressed as one student archetype and then strips down becoming another archetype and another though Zoe has other plans and soon she, Maya and Tristan are on the bedroom set for Zoe’s former character and she even got one of her former co-stars to be in the video. Zoe’s concept is that Maya brings a guy home and slowly strips away layers (of cloths) until she’s ready….it’ll be tasteful she promises.

Drew calls Dallas who is drunkenly hooking up with a girl at the Torres home a habit that has been going on for weeks. Dallas doesn’t even know his bed buddies name and she ends up walking out.

Alli shows up to see Leo at the Dot and they make out before she tells him that she can’t have their date because she has to study with Clare so she can get into MIT. Leo comments how he just moved to Canada for her and now she’s planning on leaving for the sates. Alli says MIT is her dream and Leo says he thought he was.

Maya records her video and later she, Miles, Tristan and Zoe are watching it. Tristan loves it, Zoe says she posted it on YouTube and Miles says its fine…if you’re into porn.

Drew asks Imogen if he sounds uptight. He tried talking to Dallas but all he cares about is chicks and beer. Imogen tells Drew sometimes people need something bad to happen before they realize things need to change with prompts Drew to decide to scare him.

Miles says that he thought Maya rejected him because she wasn’t ready to date but after seeing her video he wonders if it was cause she just didn’t wish to date him. Maya says she was just acting for her music career and Miles says she was a slut to get attention and Maya should look at her facerange fan page. Maya looks online and finds a page of doctored nudes of her.

Drew pays off a random girl…what’s he up to?

Clare and Alli are studying well Clare is studying Alli’s out of it. She tells Clare it’s hard to immigrate to the US without a student visa and she is being selfish for not taking Leo into consideration and that she should skip the SATs and just go to TU since Canadian schools don’t require test scores.

Maya tells Zoe she needs to take the video down cause someone put the page up. She wants people to like her for her music and not her body. Zoe says how the Kardashian’s became a million dollar empire all because of Kim’s sex tape and that fame comes with a price but at the end of the day it’s worth it.

Alli tells Leo she knows she was selfish however she has a plan and begins to list all the schools in Boston, she’s even started filling out paperwork for him to apply to school. Leo says he’s just her stupid boyfriend with her filling out forms and he ends up slapping her again. He’s sorry but she never wants to see him again.

Tristan asks Maya if any of the facerange pictures were her and Maya says that they aren’t but haters are going to hate…right? Townsend calls on Maya to read her essay to the class and one of the students makes a snide comment causing him to get sent to the office and Maya to storm out of class.

Drew watches as the girl Drew paid off tells Dallas she’s pregnant with his child. Dallas comments they never had sex and she is panicked. Dallas asks Drew if he looks like some blackout drunk who has sex with girls…wait that’s Drew (in reference to Katie) Drew then says Dallas needs to think about his son.

Margaret tells Maya school called saying she skipped. Maya says she was sick and when Margaret asks to take Maya’s temperature she panics and closes her laptop. Her mom demands to see it and Maya says it’s not her somebody made this page and she’s trying to ignore it cause she knows its lies however she can’t. Margaret promises they’ll stop the bullying and get to the bottom of things.
