Drew propositions Alli in the hall asking for her to walk
him to class. She comments that if he keeps this up people are going to think
they are a couple. Drew says they aren’t a couple cause labels are pointless
and they are different and you can’t break up something that isn’t there. Alli
asks if they are friends with benefits and Drew says well if you have to label
us then…..we’re going to be late for class.
WHATEVER IT TAKES
Holly J has crashed in the student council lounge. She’s
exhausted and in said exhaustion has forgotten her locker combo thus leaving
her uniform for work lying on the ground. Fiona comments how Declan has been
asking about her and she says she just doesn’t want to talk about her break up.
Break Up or On a Break? It doesn’t matter. Fiona asks if Holly J wants to join
her for lunch but she’s swamped and to top it off she’s got a nice zit. In a
moment of product placement Fiona offers Holly J her Zeno and tells her how
soon this stress will be over and she’ll be at Yale.
Alli’s telling Jenna and KC about her friends with benefit
status with Drew. Jenna and KC are talking about couple things that they do and
Alli wants that. Jenna suggests Alli asks him on a date and she suggests that
they double.
The band slam is fast approaching but only the Three Tenner’s
have signed up and since they are simply an auto tuned novelty act and can’t
fill a two hour set the event is going to suck however it’s okay cause Simpson
informs Sav that they lost the gym and the event is canceled. This was supposed
to be his year and it was supposed to be fun and Holly J suggests that they
have a good simply dance….they can easily get Above the Dot from Peter and
after seeing Holly J’s uniform they decide the theme for a Hoedown.
Wesley and Dave comment about how hot Miss Oh is and how it
sucks that the band slam is canceled. Conner is crashed at his computer and he
comments how he wishes he liked coffee however he’s been sucked into a World of
Warcraft-esque online RPG and it’s sucking the life out of him.
Fiona is quizzing Holly J for French and Sav walks up asking
if Balloons are too cheesy for the dance. Considering it’s a hoedown nothing is
too cheesy. Fiona then points out how Sav is totally crushing on Holly J. She
says we’re just friends but Fiona doubts that.
Alli asks Drew if he’s heard about the dance and how he
should go with her, Jenna, and KC. Drew
can’t cause his moms seen his grades and really needs him to buckle down and
Alli, Drew isn’t avoiding you….have you MET Audra.
Conner’s playing online with his game and he’s talking to a
girl on it. Simpson’s calling from upstairs and it seems he’s pulled another all-nighter
online.
Alli asks Drew how his paper on the Victorian Era is and it’s
kind of rough and Alli decided to help by doing the research part for him but
he doesn’t need help. She comments but if his mom say he got an A….he cuts her
off saying she’s just ask why not an A+ again Alli have you not met Audra. She means
to do well by her boys but at the same time she’s a real hard ass.
Sav and Holly J are working on plotting the dance. Sav asks
her how things have been in regards to the break up and she says they are doing
good. He suggests more of a distraction and asks if she wants to hang out after
school though she has to work. She tells him that she’s done at eight if his
parents would let him come to the restaurant to talk about the dance and stuff.
Conner is on the game in the MI lab waiting for a message
from the girl he’s been chatting with online. Dave and Wesley ask if there are
any pictures and Conner shows him her avatar. Okay so he hasn’t seen
LoveQueen16’s pictures so….Wesley and Dave say that for all Conner knows ‘she’
could be an overweight middle-aged man. Conner agrees reluctantly to join the
boys outside.
Sav and Holly J hang out at the restaurant and Holly J’s
boss asks if Sav is her boyfriend. Holly J says no….but could you imagine.
Jenna asks how Alli is doing and if she helped Drew with his
essay. She is….by writing it…all. Jenna asks what if Mr. P finds out and Alli
says that it’s not like she copied it she wrote it from scratch. Drew asks how
the essay was and Alli says good, his too. Drew says that he didn’t finish it
however Alli claims it’s okay. Mr. P asks for people to turn them in and Drew
raises his hand about to call Alli on writing it when Mr. P says no extensions
before seeing the paper on the desk….and it’s good. Asking Drew what some of
the big words in the essay meant and hearing Drew with no clue however makes
the teacher can tell it’s not his. Alli admits she wrote the second paper
behind Drew’s back. Alli’s sent to the office and Drew is getting docked a
grade.
Holly J asks Sav how things are shaping up for Friday. Sav’s
got a confession as does Holly J. Sav’s is that the balloons aren’t inflated
and asks her to skip classes to fill the balloons up. They start sucking in
helium and Sav ends up kissing Holly J. she looks at the time and realizes she
needs to go.
Alli has a massive make up assignment to do cause it’s a moral
grey area what she did since she wrote both her’s and Drew’s essay from
scratch. Drew asks if she thinks he’s an idiot or something which is why she
would do his work for him. She just wanted him to go to the dance with her. He
tells her the REAL reason he didn’t want to go was cause he has a trial period
before making it official and Alli failed….TBC
Drew asks Adam if he was to write an essay on the Victorian
Era where should he start. Adam asks when that was exactly and says that maybe
Drew should of just used Alli’s paper. Drew doesn’t appreciate Alli calling him
stupid. He’s a new guy at a new school and why should he be tied down with one
girl and that Adam just doesn’t get it cause he doesn’t have girls throwing
themselves at him. Low blow Andrew low blow. It’s clear however as Alli walks
by Drew is very much in love with her.
I KNOW I CAN MAKE IT THROUGH
Drew goes to KC for girl advice. He wants someone cute,
loyal, attracted to shiny objects. I like KC think Drew should just get a puppy
however once Drew is clear he wants arm candy and not a pet KC suggests an
artsy girl after all there could be nude posing in his future. But artsy girls
don’t shave their pits….okay….and drama chicks are too dramatic….a cheerleader
is perfect and KC tells Drew Marisol is single. Drew asks her out and she
brings up Alli. Nope….not together.
Holly J and Fiona are heading to class and Sav calls out to
Holly J. Fiona got that she’d be in a post break up funk but to rebound with
Sav….ewwww.. Holly J swears there isn’t anything between them while Sav is
telling Peter otherwise.
Dave tells Connor that the only thing better than a fake
girlfriend is a real one and that they should have him meet her in real life
and if she’s not a creeper he should ask her out.
Jenna asks Alli if she’s over Drew as they see him out with
Marisol. It’s clear to Alli that he’s over her.
Drew and Marisol are on their date and she just orders what
Drew ordered and says she likes what he likes kind of all robotic like. She
comments how it’s easier if she doesn’t have to think for herself and knowing
that she and best friend since preschool Katie are rather clever her dizziness
here is either an act so boys don’t think she’s smart and get turned off, or
when they wrote in Katie and that backstory to the cannon the following season
they re-worked Marisol as a character on paper.
The boys show up to the steak house and say how the girl is supposed
to be wearing a Realm of Doom shirt. There is someone in that shirt however she’s
a woman in her thirties or forties and not sixteen like she said.
Drew tells Alli if she still wants to go to the dance. Marisol
is boring and she made him realize that he likes Alli but Alli is not amused
and is totally over him or at least that’s what she’s saying.
Holly J is dropping off things for the dance and Peter asks
what’s going on. Sav likes her and they kissed however she tells Peter that the
romantic feeling isn’t mutual….yea…right…. She heads upstairs and is looking at
what Sav did. Sav asks if she feels as weird as he does. He says how the kiss
was stupid and it would be stupid to do it again however this time Holly J
initiates the make out.
Drew tells Adam how without her girls he just doesn’t care
but with Alli it’s different. Adam asks if Drew’s seen any eighties movies and
Drew admits not willingly. Adam tells him a girl that is worth it deserves to
be fought for and he needs to show Alli some grand romantic gesture.
Holly J is looking at pictures of her and Sav on face range
and Fiona is all see you do like him and points out how Sav’s just a rebound and
Holly J’s going to end up back with Declan. She comes up on a photo of the two
of them in New York and Fiona comments how she thought she deleted all her
photos.
Drew ropes KC, Owen, and some random into helping him ask
Alli out to the dance. She’s not going to go with him just because he’s great…and
tells him he should go with a mirror so he can be worth his ego. She asks why
he likes her and walks away. The boys laugh at her.
Holly J shows up and tells Sav he’s great but she’s not
totally over Declan. He apologizes about the kiss and she says they were just
carried up in a moment.
Dave comments about the girl and Conner asks why they left.
Dave says cause she’s old and when Conner brings up Miss Oh he says how she’s a
teacher and it’s different.
At the dance Drew is watching Alli from the side of the room
and Marisol asks why Drew is lonely. He wants to ask her girl advice about Alli
but she takes a pass seeing she’s been rejected.
Sav gives a speech at the DJ booth about how Holly J is
amazing and she’s to thank for the dance.
Adam goes to Alli saying Jenna needs to talk to her at the
photo booth.
Holly J comments on Sav’s speech and tells him she really
likes him….as more than a friend though whatever it is that they have is going to
have an expiration date….they decide to just keep it casual and go with the
flow….no pressure….just fun and just until graduation then they pressure free
go off to their respective universities.
Alli shows up at the photo booth and Drew is there. He tells
her she’s not like other girls and that’s a good thing however he admits he’s
intimidated by how smart she is cause everyone always calls him dumb. She tells
him there are two kinds of smarts…book smart and people smart and book smart is
over rated.
Fiona and Anya show up to the lounge with coffee. Holly J comments
how Anya can never know cause knowing that her ex best friend and ex-boyfriend
are together would break her heart and it’s going to be fun keeping the secret.
Alli is hanging up pictures from the dance in her locker and
Drew tells calls her. He’s sticks a label on her head saying ‘Drew’s Girlfriend’
and gives her one to stick on his head saying ‘Alli’s Boyfriend’
