Sav is dancing around the house to the radio and he ends up
being the nth caller to win four backstage passes to Dead Hand’s reunion tour
however it’s out of town and on a school night and his dad is forbidding him to
go.
WHAEVER IT TAKES
Laura Coyne is leaving to head back to New York and is
worried about Fiona’s mental and emotional state being alone. She says she has
Holly J plus she’ll go see her shrink.
Holly J who I don’t know if I mentioned earlier is now VP
asks if Sav has come up with any fundraising ideas for the school. Sav says he
has the four concert tickets he needs to get rid of and Holly J suggests borrowing
Sav’s dad’s truck and do a hands on a hard body contest with the winner getting
the tickets.
Alli’s watching Jenna’s YouTube videos while Jenna plans to
try on her new cheer uniform for the calendar shoot however it’s not coming on.
She gave her measurements over the summer and she’s worried that she’s getting
fat.
Holly J asks Fiona if she has an idea what a word means from
her SAT prep book however Fiona is too busy gushing about how she booked them a
massage/mani/pedi combo at the condo for them. Holly J is busy with school, SAT
prep and the contest so she can’t come. Fiona tells Holly J she NEEDS her
however after Holly J says she can try to pencil in some time Fiona says don’t
bother.
KC asks if Jenna if he can see her in the new uniform and
she says save it for the calendar. Speaking of, KC wants three copies one for
the school locker one for the gym locker and one for his room. He then starts
talking about the chili cheese fries he’s eating (I wonder if they are the
brand that JT used to hawk) and asks Jenna to try some. Jenna does and he
comments how he likes that she’s not one of those girls obsessing over every
calorie. Jenna takes this as KC saying she’s FAT.
Sav gives his dad a proposal compete with a PowerPoint to
show that he’s an adult and let him borrow his truck for the school function.
Sav is given the okay so long as he cleans the truck and makes sure it’s
scratch free.
The contest starts and Holly J and Sav comment how they’ve
made $600 for the school. Eli uses his
powers of persuasion namely his ‘fish pits’ to get Bianca to drop out of the
contest.
The squad is meeting at the Dot and they are talking about
how they are done with formal practice for the week in order to work on the calendar
shoot. They start talking about losing weight and counting calories when Bianca
who has since moved onto the diner hears them and comments how if they are
interested in buying some of her aunts weight loss pills from her.
It’s down to Adam, Eli, and Wesley however Wesley soon drops
out cause he can’t hold it in. It’s decided Eli and Adam are both winners and
split tickets two and two and a friendship is born. As they help Sav unload the AV equipment from
the truck Adam hits the tail light with a speaker and cracks it…Sav’s screwed.
At the Dot, Sav tells Peter that it’s going to cost $200 for
parts and labor and he’s going to get killed. Eli comes into the grille and
tells Sav he’s pretty good with cars and he can try to look at the damage and
since he and Adam feel guilty and give him back the extra two tickets to
sell. Peter comments that Sav should
take Eli under his wing. Sav then goes
and sells one of the free tickets to Bianca for the $200 he needs to fix the
car.
Fiona is talking to the shrink about Holly J but time is
soon up and Fiona comments how she just wants someone.
Jenna’s working in the weight room and is bummed at how
little calories that she’s actually burnt. KC then asks her to help spot him
and she’s about to that is until KC comments about how he hopes Jenna is
December. WHY she asks, CAUSE I’M FAT LIKE SANTA….no, KC was thinking more like
Sexy Elf and besides he just really likes Christmas.
Sav’s impressed with Eli’s mechanic skills as the light is
as good as new. Eli comments how he’s always fixing ‘Morty’ cause he’s always
breaking down….like now it’s out of commission and he’s waiting on a part. Sav
tells the younger boys they should hang and Eli agrees asking how Sav’s getting
to the show since like he just said his car’s in the shop. They coax him to
take the fourth ticket and drive them to the show….now he just has to get the
truck.
Miss Oh is watching Jenna’s video and complements her on it.
Fiona is walking down the street all depressed and ends up
adopting a pig.
Mr. Bhandari shows off his haul from the bargain bin at Men’s
Warehouse and comments at just how responsible Sav is truly being. He then
gives Sav the okay to take the truck and go see the show however he soon is
back to his previous NO when Sav is honest and mentions the tail light.
Jenna gets the pills from Bianca.
Sav tells Eli and Adam his dad said no however this doesn’t
mean that Sav won’t still take the truck anyway…..TBC
Part two opens as the boys are trying to figure out how they
can pull things off. They decide to get the Bhandari’s tickets to a double bill
complete with director’s commentary and then take and return the car from the
parking lot.
I KNOW I CAN MAKE IT THROUGH
Alli tells Jenna how everyone is talking about the calendar and
not just students…some women at the market was on the brink of dropping her
melons in excitement. KC arrives with a greasy breakfast sandwich and Jenna reluctantly
takes a bite before Miss Oh tells them to trash it because foods not allowed in
the lab.
Holly J asks if Fiona wants to work on a history project
together and Fiona comments how NOW she wants to hang and thanks but no thanks.
She’s asking all twitchy and this is because she’s brought the pig to school.
Mr. P tells her to leave.
Jenna loosed three pounds and is excited…that is till Anya
comments how it could be water weight. Jenna shows her the pills and Anya
comments how they aren’t safe and tells Jenna bewhere the side effects.
Sav gives the parents to tickets and despite them at first
asking what the catch was and him having a brief bout of remorse when they go
to take the truck the boys plan works and it’s off to Dead Hand they go.
Fiona is dressing the pig up and she soon scampers off leaving
Fiona a little present as she goes.
The boys are at the show when a drunken Bianca approaches them.
She’s surprised the school prez is out and about like this.
Chantey tells Jenna how jealous she is that she and Anya can
eat whatever without worrying about gaining weight and also informs Jenna she’s
got the cover.
The boys (and drunken Bianca) are ready to go home however
after staying for an encore set they have a twenty minute drive ahead of them
but are only halfway home so he picks up the pace.
Cut to the girls brainstorming calendar poses.
Twelve minutes left and after speeding a cop is now
following them. Bianca says to floor it because she can’t get caught drunk….again.
Jenna is being held up at the top of the pyramid when
suddenly she shits herself thanks to the side effects of the pills.
Sav is freaking out as the cops approach. He’s not being
pulled over just for speeding but the car’s been reported as stolen.
Fiona is cleaning up the pigs mess when Holly J shows up
apologizing for being a bad friend.
Jenna apologizes to KC for having to bring her a change of clothes
and she admits her insecurities to him. He tells her he loves her body.
Grounded for two months Sav has to pay all the fines that incurred
from that evening and is going to have to re-earn his parents trust.
Alli tells Jenna about how Sav was busted and she could get
caught with Drew in her bed naked and still be the good child. She also
comments about Jenna’s weird banana and ranch combo which is foreshadowing if I
ever saw it for Jenna’s big arch coming up. Jenna tells Alli about the pills
and the shit and how she has a new plan….to just get a bigger uniform and not
be a worry wart.
Adam and Eli ask Sav about the damage from the other night
and Sav tells them the grounding was so worth it and the boys tell Sav he’s
their hero.
