The seniors are writing a History exam and Bianca gets done
before time is called and begins to sit in Mr. P’s class fileing her nails
while Katie comments how she needs to concentrate. Drew lets out a little
giggle much to Katie’s dislike however before more happens Bianca is called to
the office to meet with a court appointed social worker as part of her
probation needing her to be interviewed and to pee in a cup making sure she’s
on the up and up.
WHATEVER IT TAKES
Mo and Marisol are walking down the halls hand and hand and
Conner comments on how he’s happy Mo’s finally found love. Marisol then
comments that Mo should tone down the PDA because it’s not like they are life
face-range official or anything.
Bianca’s being talked to and her grades are on the up and up
though her aunt seems to never be around when they make house calls. The worker
leaves and Simpson comments about how she’s got a shit ton of potential and she
really needs to think more of herself and gives her a college catalog.
Alli asks if Dave is doing okay. His dad has told her
Jacinta has made it through her last surgery okay and he plans to visit her
tonight much to Alli’s dismay. It’s been a week and Alli thinks he needs a
distraction and he agrees to blow off the hospital visit and go see a movie
with her instead.
Katie’s pill popping and Drew comments how he thought she’d
be done with pills after all while it’s only been a week since she went under
the knife (not outright said but since it’s been a week since Jacinta then
obviously it’s been a week since that and Mo and Marisol’s initial make out too
right) Katie isn’t even in her brace. Katie says she still has some pain as
Bianca walks by. Drew asks about how the meeting went and about all the college
paraphernalia. Drew then suggests Katie help her with the essays and stuff and
Katie is much too willing to do this.
Mo and Jake are studying…and side note I flipping love this
bromance and wish we had more of it aside from this episode and a few near the
end arch of season 12….but Mo is distracted. Mo asks Jake if he gets girls….
Jake wants to know get or Get?....Mo means the former…as a means of
understanding and not sexual. He then tells Jake how Marisol is hot and then
cold she’s yes then she’s know she’s in then she’s out she’s up and she’s down…..I
could go on and continue my Katy Perry rant but you get the point. Jake asks
how into Mo she was on their last date….there hasn’t been a date….Jake says get
your head in the game and go on a date.
Katie’s helping Bianca out with school things and giving her
a mock interview asking what her greatest skills are….that is skills not performed
in a Boiler Room….kidding kidding….but really I’m high and you kind of are
reputed to be a slut…..Bianca laughs along with Katie and says how dealing weed
probably isn’t a good skill either. Katie says not so fast…. Leave out WHAT was
being sold and you can easily market it as business skills. She then asks
Bianca all about drug dealing and how she gets hooked up. Bianca tells her about
it but it’s in the past…she’s trying to be a better person. Katie likes that
and decides to drop all grudges she’s had with Bianca being Drew’s ex and suggests
they have a girls night cause Marisol is busy with Mo and she’s got a hidden agenda
to score more pills. Katie heads off and Drew shows up after practice wanting
to know what Katie’s deal. Drew apologizes for her and being judgy and type A.
Bianca says it’s quite the opposite she was friendly and wants a girl’s night.
Drew loves that idea since she’s been all depressed and withdrawn and he’s been
too busy with football to take care of her and he encourages her. Bianca’s
awesome and she deserves to have friends and a bright future.
Alli wants to know when her life became soap…sweetie it hasn’t,
and vents to Jenna about how Dave visits Jacinta after everything that
happened. They end up googling Jacinta’s name and they find a get well page
which has well wishes and notes from her friends giving death threats to Dave.
Katie and Bianca show up at the club and Katie’s worried
they’d be busted. Bianca tells Katie to unbutton a bit and comments how she
should have just worn a turtleneck and Katie comments how she doesn’t have a
whole closet of slut-ware like Bianca. Sidenote….it would have been interesting
to of seen Bianca bring Katie club-wear or to have Katie shock Bianca and show
up in something low cut because Chloe is stunning and could so of pulled it off
and looked hot. The girls get in and ‘Ron Ron’ comments to Bianca long time no
see. Bianca tells him to move it and Katie’s giggly asking if he’s a
connection.
Jenna walks into the Bhandari living room to see Alli
replying to comments on the wall saying to cut Dave some slack. Jenna says she
shouldn’t waste time and energy obsessing on the page as Dave shows up and
Jenna goes to do her hair.
Bianca comes out of the ladies room and she sees Katie with
Ron Ron. He walks off and Bianca asks if he tried hitting on her. He didn’t….but
she soon sees Katie with the Oxy cause perfect little Katie isn’t so perfect.
Sure she claims that she had a prescription already but her home supply is running
low however Bianca can smell an addict from a mile away. Katie tells Bianca she’s
under pressure and she doesn’t have it all together like people think and she
thought if anyone got trying to live up to a reputation Bianca does. Bianca
says how she doesn’t like her reputation much however High Katie just wants to
party.
Mo and Marisol go out to the Dot. Marisol is happy they are
hanging out outside of school and Mo nods saying it’s time they have a first
date. Marisol says when and while this was Mo’s idea of a first date he lies
saying he’s taking her to some sky walk at the CN tower and then to a fancy
dinner. Sure it’s pricy but Marisol deserves the best.
Katie’s dancing at the club all drugged up however Bianca’s
got to be home for curfew. Bianca now gets why Katie wanted to be her friend….so
she could score. Katie is high as a kite and Bianca drags her home. She’s
contemplating her hands and goes on a rant. Bianca is waiting for her to screw
up so she could steal Drew and calls her a Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing. Bianca
thought Katie really wanted to make amends and Katie tells Bianca she has real
friends. Maya comes into the kitchen asking what the noise is and she tells
mini Matlin that Katie’s high.
Alli and Dave finish their movie and Alli wants to talk
about Jacinta and tells him about the page and the death threats.
Bianca shows up at the Torres home and tells Drew that there
was a reason Katie wanted to hang with her and that reason is because she’s an
addict. Instead of denying Bianca’s words he asks if he should dump her however
Bianca can’t in good conscience tell him to break up with Katie over this
because she still loves him and wants him back. He still loves her too and they
kiss. Bianca tells her it’s not okay and that Katie’s condition isn’t a joke
and he should really take care of her however he loves her too. ….TBC
The next morning Drew asks Bianca if she thought about them
and she has been. It was her mistake but she’s done being a home wrecker. He
says he’ll dump Katie for her however she doesn’t want to be his rebound.
Bianca says if they do get back she doesn’t want it to be on the DL she wants
Audra to know. Their chat is halted as Maya comes over to tell them Katie ODed
and is in the hospital getting her stomach pumped.
I KNOW I CAN MAKE IT THROUGH…..
Mo greets Jake wanting to end it all. He took Marisol out
for coffee and she started doing homework and he then promised her a highly expensive
first date that he can’t afford. Jake being the upstanding bros helping bros
kind of guy offers him half his commission if he helps on a paint job.
Maya’s talking to Drew and Bianca about the pills and Bianca
says how at the club she was off. Maya can’t believe she was forced to go to
school and Drew and Bianca ditch to see her.
Mo tells Marisol he has the date all set up however Marisol
can’t this weekend. Mo takes it personally especially since she can’t divulge
her plans to him.
Katie cries on Drew’s shoulder. She’s in pain and she’s a
mess. Her parents think she has a drug problem but she doesn’t she just took a little
too much by mistake. She then talks about how Bianca’s friends gave her the
pills at the club and they must have been tainted….Bianca goes to correct the
account…they didn’t give them Katie bought them….Katie tells Bianca that she
took her to the club. Katie then starts breaking down more and Bianca is asked
to leave pissed that they are scapegoating her….again.
Alli shows up in the café to sit by Dave who is looking at
the page and thanks Alli for defending him. Alli tells him he needs to move on
and have a pleasant night and invites him to an all ages stand up show above
the Dot.
Bianca is sitting around watching some cooking show and asks
her aunt when she can come for parent teacher night. Her aunt bitches her out
saying how she skipped curfew and she’s sick of Bianca’s shit and how she’s
spiraling downward. Bianca says she just needs someone to believe in her.
Mo shows up to the job with Jake all upset cause his date is
off. Jake asks if he’s still going to help and he can always use the extra
cash. The boys soon realize they are working at a strip club. Seriously did
Glen know he was sending his seventeen year old son to paint a strip club?
Bianca sneaks into the Torres basement while Audra is doing
laundry. Audra tells her she could have come in the front and Bianca apologizes
saying it’s habitual. Drew is out getting dinner but Bianca wanted to talk to
Audra….to thank her for getting her a lawyer and helping her all summer. She
designed a bracelet and one day hopes to afford to make it for her. She says
she plans on staying away from the family because she’s bad news and that she
is grateful that Audra believes in her. Audra tells her there is no need to go
away. She tells Audra about how her aunt sucks and won’t go to parent night.
Audra offers and Bianca asks WHY after all the drama she caused Drew and Adam
why does she like her. Audra comments how she used to be a wild child.
Alli and Dave are at the club however Dave is glued to his
phone. Alli is asking for the phone and the comedian starts making fun of their
fighting and Dave flips out at the comedian and runs out.
Jake is painting while Mo is flirting with the talent. Jake
reminds him this is a professional job and they are underage however Mo wants
him to take a few pictures of the girls. He then ends up tweeting the pictures
to piss Marisol off and let her know what she’s missing. Jake rolls his eyes
saying he doesn’t get girls.
Bianca asks Katie how she’s feeling and Katie tells her and
Drew how her dad is pulling her out of school for the rest of the semester and
she’s going to do some rehab. She thinks her parents are over reacting however
it’s then brought up that if Bianca didn’t take her home it could have been worse.
Katie admits drugs aside she really did like hanging with Bianca and then
starts to cry hysterically as realization settles in. She’s going to rehab….she’s
class president and this was supposed to be her year so why is this happening?
Bianca kneels besides her saying how she’ll get through this. She has a loving
and supportive family, great friends and she’s got Drew. As Bianca says this
latter part Drew gives her a WTF face because he really wanted to dump Katie
and get back with Bianca.
Mo asks Marisol if she’s been crying and she says all night.
He apologizes to her about the pictures on twitter and how he didn’t hook up
with the strippers. Marisol is all huh…what….strippers….but she never saw the
pictures as she doesn’t follow him and is in reality crying over how her best
friend is going through a live altering crisis.
Dave tells Alli Jacinta’s friends are right and he’s a bad
guy and Alli deserves better and if she wants to break up. Alli tells him if
that’s what he wants that’s fine however she’d prefer not and they end up
together still.
Drew tells Bianca he needs to talk and Bianca says to make
it quick as Audra is meeting with her and Mr. P when she’s done with Adam. Drew
asks why she said to Katie he’d be there and Bianca says that she’s broke and
if he dumped her now she snap. Drew tells Bianca how he wants to be with her
and he loves her. Bianca says she knows but right now Katie needs him more. He
says it sucks and she knows but they went through worse. Plus putting Katie’s
needs above her heart is massive character development.
Mo shows up to see Marisol whose been ignoring him at the
Dot. He apologizes for being an idiot and asks about Katie. Marisol’s not supposed
to talk about it but tells him how she’s going to counseling for addiction. Mo
is in shock….Katie….Katie Matlin? Marisol says she’s interim president of the
school and how she doesn’t know how she can do it all….Katie did all the work
and she did all the social stuff. She tells Mo this is why she likes him….he’s
there to hold her hand and listen.
Bianca gets rave reviews from her teachers and Audra is
impressed about all three kids. She then proposes that the family goes for ice
cream and Bianca is invited as well. Adam teases that Audra finally has the
daughter she wanted and the group head out of the school.
