as I’d like to call this episode ‘Lying is the most fun a girl (or gay) can
have without taking their cloths off…..
Again
like all the even episodes they are just a glorified part two for the odds and
why TIIC decided to give all episodes their own title instead of doing part
one/part two I’ll never know…..
Again
there are three plots……
The
Tristan plot was meh but then again I’m kind of over Tristan cause I find him
rather grating as a character. Thankfully those ‘pills’ he allegedly got from
Owen making me cringe at the elder Milligan’s character derailment off screen
were in fact Vitamin D. Though at First Tristan doesn’t say as much as Miles
gets promoted to starter and wants Tristan to supply the other boys…..Dallas
calls Tristan out and he admits to them being fakes and Dallas tells him they
better be cause of random drug tests. Miles is pissed cause he’s going to be
made out to be a liar in front of the other boys and after a conversation
Tristan had with Maya I was worried for a moment he was going to supply REAL
pills. He doesn’t and instead admits he gave Miles the pills but he heard a
drug test was imminent and so he gives ‘Flusher Pills’ AKA B12 Vitamins to the team and the Triles bromance is still
in tact. I know Lyle has trolled that they may be more and I’d actually be
interested to see how that will play out. Also more mentions of Miles’s dad and
him being a disappointment and I just NEED Miles Jr back for a plot ASAP.
Clare
is cancer free still her brain issues are just lingering side effects from the
chemo that should fade within a couple months to a couple years. The doctor
advices she take things easy and maybe join a yoga class (which she does in the
end). Clare however is worried cause she needs to be the best and get good
grades and get into Columbia to go to NY with Eli…..oh come on we already know
Drew will somehow manage to be valedictorian come graduation calling it now.
She ends up submitting the article about Zoe despite lying and is told her
writing is good but she needs Zoe to fact check. Zoe doesn’t like being painted
as a pathetic looser and thinks it’s lame that Clare is playing the cancer card
to her. She does admit in the end she lied and the editor tells her it’ll be
their little secret and Clare has promise and to not sell herself short cause
she did beat cancer so that is an accomplishment.
Finally
the third plot which in a nutshell Becky’s paranoid and asks Imogen if she
knows why Adam wanted to call her that night…..clearly the reason was he wanted
to tell Becky he loved her (and he was feeling guilt for kissing Imogen) and
Imogen feels guilt from the kiss….. again the tension between them is crazy
insane though I’d gladly also take Drew/Imogen
though I like their Bro-T-P too. Luke just has crazy chemistry with
everyone he acts beside and while I snark about Drew allot he’s definitely
grown allot as a character. Imogen then
tells Becky the next day that Adam wanted to call her cause he missed and loved
her and asks her to be Winston’s co-anchor on the new news channel….
We’re
halfway though this block and we still have the whole ‘Maya acting slutty plot
which I assume is the same one with her writing the song to Zoe….I’m going to
assume that will be a subplot for 13/14 with 15/16 being the ‘Thanksgiving’ one
where Eli and Bianca guest star and Clew kiss. I also wouldn’t be surprised if
they did a 2 month time skip and 17/18 was a Christmas Special…… also it’s
interesting to note that they just wrapped on the season and while no
graduation pictures have come out we have had pictures of them filming ‘New
York’ scenes on the Epitome lot just last week …..also it’s interesting to note
that they were only filming episode 32/40 by this time last year and we’d
already seen up to 23/40 air. I wonder how the episodes will be spread out and
when/if we get a season 14 it’ll just be a shortened arch to get to graduation
or if we’ll have a time skip or something…..
