11x05 Idioteque RECAP

The episode opens with Bianca straddling Drew on the couch. It’s his kind of after school program. She wants to have sex with him….their first time actually having sex….she kind of owes it to him. They make out however Drew can’t get it up and he doesn’t know why….it not her she’s hot. She knows and says that they can do it some other time but she should go before his mom comes home and he wishes they didn’t need to sneak.

WHATEVER IT TAKES

Wesley asks Connor what happened at the party. Conner says he talked with Fiona she walked away then he went home. Wesley feels bad he never got Conner a date. He then walks over to Miss Oh asking her a question however the teacher can’t talk because she wants to hit up the locker room for a pre-class shower since she just went for a run and is a sweaty mess. Wesley says he’s not going to get that vision from his mind and Conner asks if he wants to help him….and no it won’t make him forget about the teacher in the shower.

Holly J asks Anya if her parents are excited cause of TU. Anya just says yea not wanting to let her friends know she didn’t get in. She didn’t have time to regardless as Fiona’s freaking about Owen’s latest status update ‘ask me about my hook up at Fiona’s party’ eeewwwww she so needs to fumigate. Who would hook up with Owen he’s such a jerk…um he may be a jerk but he’s hot. The girls plan to go to lunch to talk about the gossip more.

Wesley follows Conner into the showers where Conner swipes Miss Oh’s underpants. No….really….now whenever Wesley sees her he’s going to know he’s commando.

Drew’s apparently now in grade eleven math….continuity fail? Drew is jittery tapping his feet when a boom goes off outside. It’s just the dumpster however Drew has a panic attack and asks to be excused.

Anya tells Owen to changes his status and he promises he will….all Anya has to do is go on a date with him…..as if. He whispers that she’s not too good for him and they walk off.

Bianca meets Drew in the hall wanting to hang out after. But Adam will be at the Torres home, he can’t go to Bianca’s and a quickie in the car is out of the question. Drew’s not in the mood, he’s on edge and hasn’t been able to sleep cause Bianca killed a guy, he’s taking the fall, and well now he has a target painted on her back. Bianca has too much baggage and he needs space.

Riley asks Anya if it was her and that Owen’s posting clothes. Her name starts with an A and ends with an A….. it narrows things down to Anya and four others. Anya asks why people care. Riley tells her girls are suckers for gossip and guys want to know who is easy. Anya posts a reply to Owen’s post saying I’d never date you in a million years and as for sex it was forgettable.

Drew’s playing one on one with Dave and he starts talking about things….Drew wants him to walk him home cause he’s freaked and he asks what about Bianca. Drew says what about as he gets a text saying she’s at the Dot and understands if he needs space. Drew ends up leaving Degrassi and he’s followed by a car causing him to run into an alley laced with paranoia. The next morning he’s holding a tea cup to his face to raise his temperature and faking a cough. It works and Audra lets him stay home….no guests especially her. He says don’t worry he’s trying to distance himself from her.

Wesley asks what Conner has for lunch and since he’s got cold pizza despite being lactose intolerant he asks his friend to trade. Conner grabs for his lunch as Miss Oh’s panties fall from his locker and Wesley asks why he still has them on his person? He asks what he’s supposed to do with it and Wesley sees Fiona’s in his locker. He tells him to stop.

Drew’s playing video games when he hears a noise outside. It’s Bianca wanting to know what’s up. He tells her that he’s faking sick and hiding out from Vince and hopes that his mom lets him transfer schools. He tells Bianca that he knew she was trouble when she walked in so shame on him because she flew him to places he’s never been but he’s now lying on the cold hard ground. Bianca says she’s going to make it right and goes to Vince asking how he can get him to leave Drew alone….Drew….he almost forgot and thanks her for reminding him to pay the boyfriend a visit. There is something he can do….go back to his place with him. Bianca doesn’t want to but it’s the only way she can save Drew.

Anya shows up to the student council room with Fiona and Holly J saying that Anya’s account was hacked and shows her the comment posted on Owen’s wall. Anya says that it wasn’t a hack but the message was supposed to be a private one. The girls are all that means….Anya says she was at a low….TU the only school she applied to rejected her then Doctor Kris moved away thus rejecting her but Owen wanted her and she was weak and she guesses she’s one of those girls with no self-respect.

Chantey and a bunch of girls are leaving the locker room to head to the pool as Chantey is telling them about post it gate. As the girls exit, Conner enters and proceeds to start grabbing panties from lockers.

I forgot to mention outside it’s now snowing….I get Toronto has weather and that with an outdoor set you can’t control mother nature being unseasonably cold in Late March/Early April when production on this episode happened but in-verse it’s early May meaning it must REALLY be unseasonably cold at the moment…..anyway Bianca sees Drew at school and he says Chicken Soup is a miracle and asks if she fixed things. She nods saying Vince won’t bug them and he asks how. She says she did what she had to do. Drew nods saying now they can go on with their separate lives…..he’s breaking up with her. It can be a fresh start and they can put this drama behind them.

Anya’s doing homework at the Dot when Owen slides up next to her asking to talk….he’s deleted all the posts and it’s not his fault Anya didn’t know how to send a PM. He wasn’t going to out her….he just wanted her attention….he just hates that he likes her so much and she doesn’t give two shifts. He then asks again for a date. Anya says she’d never live it down with her friends and Owen says they don’t know everything about him, Anya thinks they don’t know anything about her either and they kiss.

Drew is walking home and a friend of Vince’s approaches Drew. He has a score still to settle. Drew comments how Bianca took care of things and the friend says putting out doesn’t fix things. Since there is the restraining order Vince sent him and his friends to settle things and they begin to jump Drew. He’s laying blood crying in the snow and pleads not to be killed. They say they don’t plan to kill him but when the time comes he’d better watch his back…
