Marco is playing online poker as his dad is setting up a new security system for the shirt shop. He invites the boys to the horse track but they decline. It’s been about a week since Dylan left and Marco is sad. Spinner tells him he needs to stop being a hermit with a computer and Spinner declares he just won $200

Marco leaves Dylan another message and Paige soon enters the room commenting about how Ellie is mad that she’s now with Jesse.

Marco and Spinner are talking and soon he proposes that he and Spinner go to Daytona for Spring Break for a change of scene. The problem though is Spinner used all his money for the shirt shop though Marco has a plan. Marco is playing online poker to try to raise money. He then suggests the boys hit a club so Ellie can study….on him….he can win more money later. They go to the club and Jay approaches the trio. They tell them they are celebrating Marco’s online poker score. Jay then invites them to a real game that people play on the sly.

Darcy is with Friendship Club. The Charity Turkey Dinner was a big hit and they plan to do another event in conjunction with the winter dance. Peter interrupts the meeting telling Darcy that his mom needs her. He lied….he just wanted to see her his moms no girlfriend policy be damned. He gives her a key pendent….’the key to his heart’ it can be their little secret.

Paige is moving into Dylan’s room however Ellie had dibs on it since she’s lived there longest. Marco is trying to IM Dylan however the girls are still fighting over the room and Jesse and want Marco to moderate. He just wants them to shut up and honestly I don’t blame him. He’s not going to be their referee and wants them to just work it out.

In Simpson’s class they have a discussion about online community moderation. Peter calls it out as being censorship which leads to Kim from Friendship Club countering the comment and Darcy to chime in all angry. As she comments she gives a little wink at Peter and they go off at one another debating as a secret means of foreplay.

Marco and Spinner go to the Poker game that Jay had set up. He wants to take some kind of risk…Spinner and Jimmy have the store, Ellie dated her boss, Paige flamed out at university but is turning her life around and Dylan….well…..you know.

Darcy and Peter sneak into the prop room and start to make out commenting next time they fake fight to tone it down. The Janitor comes commenting that Peter wouldn’t want his mom finding out about what he was doing.

Marco, Spinner, Jay and his boys are playing cards. Marco wins the pot but the deal is he has to go win it back the following day. They all head to the club and Marco is wired and wants to keep parting and living. Spinner tells him he needs to calm down and not get ahead of himself. The following day like promised they do play again and as quickly as Marco wins he loses it all. He’s in the process of asking for a loan to buy back in however the boss of the grudge asks them to get out. Marco wants to try again but Spinner tells him he just lost $1100 and needs to quit.

Marco goes to his dad asking how he and his uncle did at the track. He tells him that you win some you lose some and that his mom left some food in the freezer before she went to bingo. I think that it’s an interesting observation knowing that both his parents regularly gamble it really adds to the character/plot as a whole. Anyway he sees his dad’s wallet sticking out from inside his coat and he goes to steal a few bills.

Darcy and Peter are IM’ing one another at school before MI. Kim asks if Darcy is emailing her boyfriend and she says no. Kim asks if they plan to work on a project after school however Darcy has to visit her grandma for her birthday or so she says. She really meets Peter in the park. He’s sorry they have to sneak around however she says it’s worth it because they are having fun. As they make out Kim crosses the park and catches them in their lie.

The game has moved to the t-shirt shop and Marco is playing now with just Jay and the mechanics and no Spinner to be seen. He lets them know that nobody can know they are at the shop. Mid game the cops show up arresting Marco for B&E even though it’s his place.

Darcy shows up and Peter tells her that Kim tattled to Miss H and his parents are considering sending him to boarding school. Also they warned that Darcy should keep her distance if she knows what’s good for her. Darcy asks if he believes that love concerns all and that she believes in them and will be at their secret place the next day waiting for him.

Spinner shows up at the shop and the cop asks if he knows who Marco is. Spinner says he’s a part time employee however when asked if he has grounds to be there Spinner says no and he goes to lock up.

Darcy is waiting in the prop room and Peter shows up. He tells her if they are sending him away he has nothing to lose except her.

Marco’s dad shows up to ask him about what happened. The cops confiscated the cash so now Marco has a bunch of mechanics mad at him but on the bright side Spinner dropped the B&E charges. Marco’s dad then asks if he knows about the $600 that went MIA from his wallet. Marco admits he took it because he was in the hole. His dad knows how it is he gambles every weekend. His dad asks why he’d steal from him. Marco tells his dad that its Dylan….he’s empty without him and admits he’s his boyfriend and not just his friend and roommate. His dad doesn’t care what Dylan is he’s more pissed about the stealing money thing.  He tells Marco to go to school but to come to the shop to work it off and that people leave but you can’t dwell on it you need to live your own life.
