Dylan is having a going away party at University House and
Paige approaches Jimmy saying how she hears he’s looking for a marketing
manager and she’s wondering if he’d hire her. As she’s talking to Jimmy,
Spinner is longingly smiling at her. Across the room Ellie and Jesse are
fighting yet again this time about how she doesn’t like dancing….(god I didn’t
realize just how annoying this ship is….sigh) Alex shows up telling them Carla
blew her off for pottery class and Paige smiles saying that at least she has
someone there.
WHATEVER IT TAKES
Paige shows up the next day at the Core to talk to Jesse
about advertising the t-shirt shop. She can’t pay for the ad space however she
comes up with other creative ideas of payment.
Emma’s been distracted and tells Manny she and Sean are
ready to go all the way. Manny informs Emma she knows this (since you know in
Rock This Town they were all set to screw before Emma puked) Emma nods and
shows Manny the prescription she has for the pill.
Alex plans to help Paige find a man and Paige shares her
qualifications: 1) Cute 2) Funny 3) Worldly 4) Fills Out a Vintage Rock Tee
Just so….. she then tells her she’s planning to go out with Spinner (so what if
he’s not #3 no one is perfect)
Jesse and Ellie are STILL fighting over stupid things and it’s
been that way for weeks. Ellie wants to break up so they can still be
friends/professionals.
Sean and Emma are at the pharmacy and run into Simpson. Sean
leaves to go to work and he asks Emma if she’s sick. She shows him the pills
and condoms and he’s shocked asking if her mom knows. Emma says they had the
talk and she’ll see him at dinner.
Spinner complements Paige with the way she got the mall
manager to agree to a fashion show. She kisses him and asks to be friends with benefits.
Later Jesse shows her the latest issue of the Core with the ad. She introduces
him to Alex and he corrects himself saying he’s Ellie’s ex and then he invites
Paige to join him at a show.
Simpson tells Christine he saw Emma buying birth control and
condoms and asks if they did talk. She says yes but didn’t tell him because
they were woman’s matters. He doesn’t care as a parent he wants to know and be
a part of Emma’s life.
Paige and Jesse are at the band show and they dance. Jesse
comments about how Ellie hated dancing and Paige makes a comment ‘move over
Antonio Banderas which is a slight Meta comment since Lauren Collins (Paige)
was in a movie ‘Take the Lead’ with Antonio around this time. The next day Paige is working at the store
and Alex is trying on a shirt. She tells Alex how she loves this casual thing
and is planning to meet Spinner at seven and then Jesse at nine. She plans to
go to Alex at eleven for a post-game wrap up.
Emma wants to talk to Simpson she’s a SEXUAL BEING!!!!!
Paige is grinding with Spinner on the couch when she has to
go. Spinner tells her to blow Jesse off however Paige responds saying he knew
about the arrangement from day one. She then meets Jesse at the club and they
are connecting…so much so that she doesn’t go to Alex. Alex is pissed at this
and is gloomy and off putting about it the next day.
At Degrassi Emma gives an oral for MI about women and sex
and how men want them to be submissive and to not say anything about the act.
At the fashion show Spinner tells Paige it’s either just him
or he’s done with her. She can’t commit. Jesse then comes over and he and
Spinner fight for a bit leading Paige to have a panic attack.
Emma apologizes to Simpson but he’s sorry too. He’s known
her since she was a baby and it’s scary to think about how grown up she is now.
She asks if he wants to give her a sex talk but he passes on it.
Paige tells Alex that after the fight Jesse still wants to
keep things casual but wants her opinion. Alex tells Paige she’s stupid and
blurts out that she still loves her and only suggested that Paige have casual
relations with guys is so she wouldn’t get serious or find a new girlfriend.
