To me this episode wasn't as grating as I thought it would
be. On the flipside however it was still hands down the weakest of the block so
far (but that's just my opinion as I think the Clare plot hands down is the
strongest thing going for the show.
The Paris plots I’m so over and I really do hope that when
the summer season/semester is over we get more depth and less relationship drama
from the grade tens and not some bizarre hexagon tossing Winston and a back on
canvas Zig into the mix. (Like seriously I just want to see Winston not as a
prop for the current quad already!)
So Tris likes Miles (Who has depth in spades I just wish we’d
see it) but even after kissing him Miles is now with Zoe (or is joined at the
lips with her at the least) Maya being the good friend to Tristan tried to pull
a prank on the couple and when that backfires leaving her and Tris in detention
where Miles asks if she did it cause SHE likes him (which she so does but didn’t
want to say much cause hoes…or rather sassy gay bros….. before bros. Or if she
doesn’t well the tension is so thick you can cut it with a damn knife) Tristan
is pissed that she made his feelings public knowledge and doesn’t want to be
friends anymore…..seriously…..he doesn’t. I mean yes these characters are
children being in the 15/16 age range but that doesn’t mean they need to act
like children which was pretty much the overall theme tonight….
Children winey over relationship drama with no real substance
though when doing a full season re-watches there will probably be more depth….
The other Paris plot was Alli who is with her Frenchman Leo
but then invites Jenna and Conner (Who was actually enjoyable to watch for a change) along to tag team as cock-blocks so she and
Leo don’t go all the way. She loves him but doesn’t want to move so fast…..um
sweetie…..unless he moves to Toronto your time is limited but kudos for not
wanting to have your summer fling be sexual since you know it’s just a fling…..
speaking of flings…..Dallas has been texting you…..he lives in Toronto and
really does care for you…..FOR THE LOVE OF GOD Keep Leo in Paris and have a
meaningful real relationship with one Mike Dallas in the fall Miss Bhandari
As for the camp plot…..so Adam had planned a Skype date with
Becky however she had a church thing with Todd the shirtless wonder on his
boat. Adam is obsessed by looking at all Becky’s instagram pictures of her and
Todd to the point that he loses a Camper (who had ran off to another group to
make sure his little girlfriend didn’t find a Todd….it was cute I swear) and
almost losing his job. He ends up hacking into Becky’s face range account DMing
Todd (as Becky) saying she has a boyfriend and isn’t interested. Becky calls
Adam telling him she knew he did that and wished he could talk to her like she
told him how worried she’d been with Imogen. Then she said they needs space. The best parts about this plot and to be honest
most of the episode was Drew whom I loved last episode too. I love how he’s
been thinking with his head and not his penis lately…..snaps for him…. Though the
scene with him and Dallas hula hooping was adorbs and I wonder if it was
scripted or an ab lib.
Next week looks like it’ll be another love/hate one based on
the TeenNick promo. I really hope the Jenna part is the human traffic plot that
was leaked on one of the wiki episode leaks that popped up….also I’m so calling
that Adam will hook up with Imogen like shown yet during this break Becky WON’T
do anything with Todd and will be super pissed when/if she finds out.
