So, this just….yea I think I cracked up about 90% of
watching this episode.
So it opens with Emma, her mom and Simpson having a ‘Family
Dinner’. Simpson asks Emma about her weekend plans and the upcoming science
fair and tells her to call him Archie when they are out of school. It’s easy to
tell that she has yet to warm up to him because she calls him Mr. Simpson with
allot of disdain in her voice.
WHATEVER IT TAKES
Emma is testing Manny because she’s one of the subjects of
her project and as she does so she’s telling Manny how Simpson asked if she has
any HOT DATES planned and how he wants to call him Archie. Manny makes a joke
asking if that makes her mom Betty and Emma says she always thought her more a
Veronica.
Spinner in hallway watching Jimmy asking Ellie out on a date
however Ellie rejects him saying that her new Best Friend is his ex and it
wouldn’t be the best situation. Ellie walks away and Jimmy approaches Spinner
and Spinner lets his friend know that he has a hard on. He explains how he’s
been in the red all week and it has to be because he’s eating healthy food due
to Emma’s project and holds a binder in front of his crotch to hide his bulge.
The underclassmen are working on their science project and
Emma is freaking out because JT and Spinner haven’t been producing the proper
results which will make her project invalid.
Ellie walks by Spinner another time and he gets yet another
hard on.
Simpson over the Nelson home yet again and upon hearing that
Emma is struggling to get her project on track and he suggests that she gets
creative with things. It’s almost time for the fair the following day and as
Manny is eating a candy bar and says how it tastes like happy and it’s just the
spark Emma needs to follow Simpson’s advice leaving the room and coming back
with an improved report just in the nick of time to be judged by Simpson
himself among others.
Spinner is ripping up the pin ups from his locker and tries
eating junk because he needs for these hard ons to stop.
Emma ends up winning the Science Fair.
Change of plans…..Spinner doesn’t want to stop the hard ons
though they are unhealthy in this frequency I’m sure and now plans on eating
health food and only health food because he’s SEX SUPERMAN and girls seem to be
looking at him differently.
Emma and Manny are e-mailing back and forth in class and
Manny sends out a message about Emma’s mom and Simpson en mass by accident.
Spinner gets Ellie’s number where Jimmy failed and Jimmy is
impressed. Spinner is convinced it’s because of the boners.
Manny gets called to Simpson and punished for sending the
email by having to write a thousand word essay on internet privacy.
Liberty calls Emma out asking if it was true that Simpson
was dating her mom and being that she was rumor fodder last season (Remember
the whole Armstrong Thing) she wanted to inform Emma that people are saying
that she only won because Simpson is her mom’s boyfriend and so he gave her the
award to win her over. Emma goes to see Simpson asking if the rumor is true and
he shakes his head informing Emma how good her project was and showing her the
score sheets.
The upperclassman are doing improve in Kwan’s class and
Jimmy calls on Spinner and Paige to act out a scene about a delivery man and a desperate
housewife which leads Spinner to get a very public boner. After class Jimmy apologizes
and asks how Spinner is. Spinner is embarrassed and once more blames food.
Jimmy goes to ask the lunch lady if eating healthy messes with the body in that
way and she replies that it’s hormones and informs Jimmy that it will pass.
Emma watches Simpson dropping her mom off and Emma asks to
talk. She tells him not to take her attitude personal she just doesn’t like
being thought of as his pet because of things. Simpson offers to transfer Emma
to a new class or stop dating her mom. Emma doesn’t want either and they share
a friendly moment of banter as the episode ends.
