13x25 CLOSE TO ME

Maya awkwardly walks in on Zig eating cereal and proceeds to pour her own bowl and more awkward persists as the doorbell rings. Miles is there to drive Maya to school and officially ask her to the dance. Maya however has something to say however Zig walks into Miles’s eyeline before she can come clean.

And Miles I pissed that Maya didn’t tell him that another guy, her ex, is sleeping under her roof. Miles comments about how he deals drugs and Maya says it’s just a rumor and that the three of them should hang out. Miles says Maya is lucky she’s cute.

Jenna is jealous of the freshmen giving Connor their attention and voices her opinion to Alli before going to Connor saying the social experiment is over. Connor tells Jenna she’s paranoid and besides they have yet to win king and queen.

Jack, Becky, and Imogen are working some more on their project as Imogen heads to work on DTV stuff. Jack tells Becky that she’s planning on asking Imogen to the dance and Becky informs her that they are already going together. Jack then calls her out for not being gay and having romantic feelings for Imogen like she apparently does despite only meeting one another a few days ago. She gets Becky is Imogen’s friend but she doesn’t want Imogen hurt by being lead on.

Maya is ranting to Zoe and Tristan about her boy drama….yawn…already over it though Tristan and Zoe mocking her and coming up with a hypothetical sinario about how bad things will get steals the scene.

Becky asks Clare and Drew for help. She accidently asked Imogen to be her date for the formal cause she wanted to get to know her more intimately. Drew suggests she fakes being a lesbian for Imogen…yea that’s not how things work.

Zig comments how Miles wasn’t thrilled to see him at the house and Maya comments how they all need to go to the dance together to get to know one another. Grace (and Tiny) however comes up with her own hypothetical on why Maya is delusional and this is a bad idea just as amusing.

Jenna is trying on dresses cause she needs to look hot for the dance. Alli says they need to get a move on cause they are running the ticket booth however Jenna tells her to go on ahead as she looks through her closet.

Zig sees Maya all dressed for the dance and his jaw drops.  He’s trying to complement her however it soon leads into verbal sparring that is saved by Miles picking her up.

Jenna shows up in a skin tight dress that Alli bought in grade 10 and never wore cause she thought it was too small for her and Jenna is much more busty.

Maya is glad to just spend time with her boyfriend and her and Miles are acting all sickening sweet cute however their kiss is short lived as Zig, Grace and Tiny show up. Tristan complements Grace on her boots and is sincere about it before asking her to dance while Miles offers to grab Zig a drink.

On the other side of the room, Becky and Imogen are awkward as Becky tells Imogen she’s never slow danced with a girl before. They start to dance however she snaps saying she thought she could do this but she can’t pretend to be a lesbian. Imogen’s glad because Becky is the first girlfriend she’s made that’s not her GIRLFRIEND and loves having a BFF.

Dallas announces Connor and Jenna as king and queen  however as they are on stage being crowned Jenna has a wardrobe malfunction.

Miles and Zig are trying to make conversation but like most scenes between this group it’s awkward at best.

Becky asks Jack if she was taught back in Germany to share before saying how Imogen is a great person and there is enough of her to be Becky’s BFF AND Jack’s potential love interest. Jack wishes she had a friend like Becky and Becky says she does.

Tristan is amused by Grace’s piercings however Grace isn’t amused. Maya asks if she’s seen Miles but he’s nowhere to be found however soon Mr.P is asking to check Zig’s locker cause there was a tip that there were drugs in there. Miles may or may not of planted them and then narked. Maya is pissed.

Jenna is holed up in a bathroom stall as Alli comes to talk to her. Jenna can’t believe she let those freshman girls get to her and she’s mortified as Connor shows up with a t-shirt asking why she chose a garment that couldn’t control her ample bosom (actual dialogue) Jenna admits that she let the attention Connor was getting get to her head and he tells her how those girls only liked him when he was conventionally dressed but she’s always liked him for him and he loves her. She loves him too just the way he is and they kiss.

Maya is back home wallowing as Zig comes back to the house. She asks if he was expelled or suspended and Zig says nothing happened there were no actual drugs planted in his locker. Maya doesn’t know WHY Miles would of done that but Zig knows why. Zig says how he should of just kissed her a year ago instead of telling her he’d wait and you can just cut the UST with a knife.
