13x05 about a Girl

The episode opens with Adam setting up for a Skype date with Becky. His hair is much longer and messier then it was a few episodes back and I assume Jordy was wearing a wig. Drew wants to hone in to share Adam’s pizza but he pushes him away. Becky comes on screen impressed with how formal Adam is dressed (he wanted to spice up their nightly chats) however it seems Becky isn’t alone as a random shirtless hottie named Todd shows up on Becky’s end to take her to a church youth group meeting. Becky promises to add an hour to the next nights chat but Adam is visibly crushed. Becky leaves and Drew takes a slice claiming Todd is the guy who is stealing Adam’s girlfriend.

WHATEVER IT TAKES

Tristan is planning on skipping class yet again and admits to Maya she’s sick of seeing Zoe French Kiss all over France with his crush.  Maya tells Winston that he needs to talk to Miles to stop the PDA with Zoe. 

Winston says that when Miles is told no he does things more to spite people. Class starts and they are being lectured on public embarrassment causing Maya to spark an idea.

Adam is looking though pictures from Becky’s hastygram (in verse version if Instagram) and sees numerous photos of her and Todd. Colton one of the kids from camp arrives and starts to look over the pictures with him. Adam tells the kid that it’s his girlfriend and when Colton says he too has a girlfriend Adam advises him to never let her go to Florida. Colton hopes his girlfriend Madison never finds a Todd as Adam goes to help the group however he gets distracted by more pictures and with this distraction Colton runs away.

Clare is skyping with Alli and Jenna and asks about how things are going with Leo. Alli gets a note saying that Leo wants to cook dinner for her and she’s nervous about it. She’s okay with all the fattening French sauces that are sure to be in the meal it’s just the after that she’s worried about as she wants to take things slow with him.

Adam’s looking for Colton when Drew asks what he’s doing. He tells him he lost Colton. Drew is pissed that Adam would be irresponsible like that and says how Simpson will kill him and then he’ll come back from the dead and kill Adam. I know that sounds cool but it’s not especially after what happens in a few more episodes. They soon hear Colton’s screams as they turn down the hall to find that Dallas has captured the runaway. Colton went to check to make sure Maddison didn’t find a Todd and he bumped his head. Drew puts Adam in time out while he goes to talk to Simpson to smooth things over but tells Adam that if he stays no more cell phone, no more hastygram and no more thinking about Becky….again considering what happens in a few episodes…yea.

Miles and Zoe are outside making out yet again as Maya looks at them rolling her eyes. Tristan comes in the room talking about how the café had French Toast and regular Toast but wouldn’t Regular Toast also be French Toast since they are in France? He asks Maya who has a bucket of water in her hand what she’s doing and she says she’s going to dump it all over them however instead it lands on their teacher landing them in detention.

Speaking of detention, Imogen walks into where Adam is being held in the Media room as he’s once more looking at photos of Becky. He comments about how he should just go in and delete her pictures since he knows Becky’s password. Logging into Becky’s FaceRange (Facebook) Adam finds out that it’s not that innocent. There are over 100 chats and Adam doesn’t come up in any of them.  Imogen gives him a hug saying that she doesn’t deserve him. Drew catches them in an embrace as he tells Adam he can keep his job but he’s on probation. Adam then declares he is going to send Todd a message.

Alli shows up at Leo’s for dinner however she ambushes him by bringing Conner and Jenna with him. Leo pulls her into the kitchen to talk and she lies saying there is trouble in paradise and that she wants to show them how in love they are.

Maya and Tristan are sentenced to clean floors. Maya teases that it’s like they are living a scene from Les Mis and Tristan says he doesn’t want prune fingers and goes to get gloves. While he’s gone Miles shows up complementing Maya on bad aim and saying Zoe isn’t his girlfriend and he’ll kiss anyone that asks so she should ask. Maya lashes out at Miles saying about how he lead Tristian on by kissing him and how much him and Zoe are hurting Tristan. Tristian hears this and turns around and leaves.

Adam is messaging Todd as Dallas, Drew, and Imogen are looking on. The message says that she has a boyfriend Adam and he needs to stay away. Imogen tells Adam it’s not going to work, he’ll find out Becky was hacked and it wasn’t her.

Maya apologizes to Tristan about her going off on Miles telling him about Tristian’s feelings. Maya says she only did it because he was accusing her of liking him. Tristan is upset cause now Miles knows he’s a lovesick puppy thanks to her and he no longer wants to be her friend.

The two couples are talking over Dinner and during the conversation Conner says how he doesn’t even want to have sex and the thought of it disgusts him before adding that the reason he and Jenna are on the date was so Alli wouldn’t be pressured into falling into Leo’s bed.  Later on Alli tells Leo she’s just scared that if they move to fast things will get messy and Leo agrees to take things slow like Alli wishes.

Adam, Dallas, Drew, and Imogen are having pizza after camp when someone’s cell buzzes. Dallas is sad it’s not him cause he’s texted Alli 50 times to no results. Its Becky texting Adam and Adam is on cloud nine until Becky comments how Face range sent her a message that said her account was accessed from Toronto and Todd got a message from her that wasn’t from her. Becky says if you were so worried you should have told me about my insecurities like I told you mine about Imogen. Adam is sorry and tells her he loves her and Becky tells him if he can’t trust her then they need to take a break..
