7x17 Talking In Your Sleep recap

Paige is humming at University House as she’s looking at paint swatches because things are going good and Andrea gave her a raise so she wants to redecorate Dylan’s old room. Ellie and Marco are eh but Griffin is down for it. Marco and Ellie finally say okay to painting and Griffin asks Paige if she’s still up for the bed thing. No not sex though Paige seems to want it. Griffin is just taking her furniture shopping at IKEA.

WHATEVER IT TAKES

Paige is bringing in her boxes of IKEA furniture and they are talking about their families. Griffin asks her how her parents dealt with having two gay kids….Paige tells him one gay kid and one that was just experimenting. Marco and Ellie come to paint the room tropical mint.

At the Breakroom Jane, Jimmy, and Spinner are hanging out but she feels like the odd one out with their guy talk. Darcy tells Jane she should join the archery club.

The University House crew paints Paige’s room. She doesn’t like the color as it’s a smidge more minty then she thought. Griffin comments that if Paige has guests in her room they won’t be looking at the walls.

Darcy is amazing at archery it’s a new found skill. Darcy comments how it’s nice to have a boyfriend free zone. Jane asks Darcy if there is anything about Peter she needs to talk to him about. Darcy tells her no….okay maybe his breath. Jane says if they are confessing secrets Lucas is her brother.

Griffin wants to talk to Marco about something…..something big. He has----feelings for Paige. Marco is all oh is that all I thought it was something dire….if you hurt her I’ll kill you.

Peter and Jane go up for their scene in class and she makes a comment about his breath and Darcy is unamused. Darcy is mad that Jane would make that comment.

Paige comes home and Griffin tells her he has a surprise for her. He set up her room for her and it looks amazing. The two kiss and as they pull back he asks her if she’s sure. He’s wanted her since his first roommate interview and she is sure. They start to make out though the make out is more like a fade to black love scene and we cut to Griffin rebuttoning his shirt and leaving the room so Paige could sleep, plus he has to meet with a professor. He left his wallet in Paige’s room and she goes to leave it in his room spotting an open draw full of prescription drugs.

Spinner tells Jane about how he and Jimmy were talking about how she publically made fun of Peter. Jane wished Darcy wasn’t so uptight and the reason she isn’t friends with more girls is because they are so sensitive.

Marco and Paige are snooping in Griffin’s room looking at the pills when they realize it’s the HIV cocktail. Marco wishes he knew because he wouldn’t have given his blessing for them to hook up. Ellie comes home after a 911 text. She’s panicking because they drank from the same juice box. Paige tells her they had SEX and when Griffin comes home she freaks on him wondering why he didn’t tell her. He wanted to tell her but the time wasn’t right. She tells him thanks to his lifestyle she has to suffer.

Darcy is shooting arrows and Jane tries to apologize though she’s doing a sucky job at it. Darcy tells her what if she announced to the school Lucas was her brother….no she won’t do it because she’s not that person.

Paige goes to a doctor asking to get checked to see if she has AIDS/HIV. The doctor tells her it’s been too soon since she’s been exposed and they can do a test in six months (and I really wish they didn’t drop this plot and at least mentioned it in passing in Goes Hollywood) Paige is researching and Griffin comes to talk to her. She thinks he got it from having too much unprotected sex and he tells her no, he was born with the disease and his mom was a junkie that died. He’s been in a Healthy Sexuality program for years and he’s leant how to deal but talking about it isn’t easy.

Darcy tells Jane again what she did wasn’t cool and Jane wants her to teach her to be a better girlfriend because she doesn’t want to always just be one of the guys.

Griffin is moving out. Paige isn’t mad he has HIV she’s mad he wasn’t honest about it. She tells him they have allot to talk about and it’ll be harder if he moves out. Sure it’ll be weird but she wants to work things out.
