14x14 Ready or Not

The episode opens at the hospital with a shot of a medical monitor. Tiny is in the hospital after being stabbed and Maya and Zig are bringing him donuts...Zoe paid for half cause she feels responsible. Tiny says he'll be better in a couple of days but snitches get stitches and they so they can't rat out Damon to the cops. Maya heads out cause Pill will bust them if they are late as Tiny tells Zig to chill

Eli comps Clare and Alli their morning coffee while Eli and Clare are making plans for birthing class while Alli reminds Clare that guys and girls can't just be friends.

Maya and Zig arrive at school and Maya hopes Zig recorded Game of Thrones. Zig is distracted as Maya rambles and I wonder if Ramona had a hand in penning this episode as she's known for putting Thrones Easter Eggs in the script. Maya soon notices Zig is distracted and Zig feels guilty for what happened to Tiny especially since Tiny still lives on the wrong side of the tracks while he lives with the Matlin's in the burbs. Maya suggests musical auditions as a distraction though it won't make Tiny unstabbed.

Play rehearsals are going on and there is a bit of tension between Lola and Winston. Frankie tells Lola she's a lock for the female lead however Winston is uneasy about it confessing to Imogen that he and Frankie's BFF kissed.

Zig looks at the audition sheet as Damon provokes him in the hall causing his blood to boil. Once Damon leave Miles arrives provoking Zig in his own right teasing that he'd have to cut the sleeves off all the costumes if he was cast...fisticuffs ensue and thankfully Grace is there to break things up. Grace tells Zig that Miles has nothing to do with Tiny and he needs some kind of anger management.

Clare and Eli go to birthing class. It's rather new age and the instructor wants the baby daddy's to give an affirmation. Clare says Eli doesn't need to but he does and it's moving.

Frankie wants Lola in the lead however Winston is making excuses... she's pitchy...she's short. Frankie assumes that Winston doesn't like her and tells him he should give her a chance and they need a group hang.

Zig apologizes to Miles saying he had issues and is sorry to take them out on him.
Grace tells Zig that she heard on the dark web that the people from Zig and Tiny's side of the tracks are planning retaliation on Damon and while she said earlier he needs to focus on something else he really needs to get involved before someone is killed.

The following morning at breakfast Margeret wishes Zig luck at the musical audition. Zig asks Maya if the musical is stupid but she thinks it's the perfect distraction. Zig thanks Maya for being the angel on his shoulder and wishes Tiny had a Maya-like person of his own.

Winston shows up with breakfast and Frankie goes to get the coffee that he forgot. Winston and Lola talk about their little secret and he tells Lola they either need to tell Frankie of find an excuse for Lola not to be in the show.

Zig tells Damon that they need to make a peace talk and he tells Damon about the rumblings he or rather Grace heard.

Alli asks Clare how birthing class and Clare tells her how Eli said how he always will be there and how she wanted to kiss him but she can't kiss him they HAVE to be platonic for her sanity and the sake of the baby.

Zig auditions for the musical and kills it. He and Maya leave to call Margeret and Winston tells Frankie how he doesn't want Lola in the female lead he wants her cause she's his muse. Frankie says she can't cause she's directing and he tells her Imogen can direct. Frankie finally cracks thinking she's now one step closer to a Tony performance with NPH.

Clare tells Eli that they need to set boundaries... however it's in vain as they kiss.

Zig, Maya and Margeret come home from dinner and Grace texts Zig how nobody showed up at the basketball court so the warning to Damon worked however the Matlin home was broken into...snitches get stitches afterall

Eli and Clare bask in post make out afterglow. Clare says they can't pretend things in the past didn't happen and Eli agrees.

The detective asks if Maya and Zig know a reason who the house was broken into and Zig remains silent though he sees a bandana hanging over the lamp knowing its a sign from the rival gang.
