13x03 All I Wanna Do

They are in Paris which is really just the Epitome back lot with loads of green screens and facades. Tristan and Maya think it’s surreal that they are there as Miles asks Winston to help him as a wing man. Winston once again says how much he loathes his nickname Chewy as their Parisian teacher introduces the course to them telling them the city is their classroom and to enjoy.

Everyone is moving in and Tristan is eyeing a shirtless Miles who tells him to take a picture. Tristan then says he has a girlfriend and as Maya walks by the dorm he declares that it’s her.

WHATEVER IT TAKES

Conner and Jenna are plotting an itenery while Alli sneaks up behind them with a Clare mask. She says how she’s planning to take pictures with it at all the landmarks they planned on going to together. Alli tells them Clare is a trouper as Conner says he’s glad that he doesn’t have cancer while Jenna is just glad that Clare will be okay. Alli asks what’s on the agenda however Conner and Jenna already have plans to go on a should out tour of the Eiffel Tower.

Clare and Eli are in Clare’s hospital room as Clare flips channels stopping on West Drive. Clare explains that Zoe is right now in Paris with Alli however the storyline on screen is hitting too close to home and instead she turns off the TV and starts kissing Eli stopping abruptly when she finds her hair is falling out. Clare’s nurse gets her for group and Eli says he’ll be back.

Tristan walks over to Maya giving her flowers and Maya tells him to can it. Tristan begs her to be his beard because he doesn’t think Miles and Winston will be accepting of the fact that he’s gay. Maya caves and gives him a kiss though it’s clear neither of them like it.

Clare arrives at group where she meets Paula. She tells her that she’s having a bad day and Paula says at least she has her hair. After Clare tells her that she just lost some while making out with her boyfriend Paula tells her to shave it off to have some control and about how her boyfriend dumped her because he wanted a boyfriend and not a patient. Clare says how Eli was all in and quit his job and Paula replies how hers said the same thing.

The grade tens are hanging out and Alli tries to tag along despite them wanting to just have burgers and fries and shop a H&M. Zoe pushes her away saying she has her own friends and leaves Alli by her lonesome.

Adam shows up at the hospital with twinkle lights and a DVD so that she and Eli can have a date at the hospital. Adam comments how Eli’s email said to just treat Clare normally and Clare asks what email. Adam revels he wasn’t supposed to tell her as she reads off a list:

1. Wash Your Hands
2. Don’t Over Stay
3. Bring Jokes
4. Let Her Rest
5. Avoid West Drive
6. Don’t Mention Her Hair
7. Don’t Mention The Email

Eli shows up with Clare’s smoothie and Clare is pissed off that Eli is treating her like a patient and not a person. Eli brought her clippers to shave her head and she flips out telling him she needs rest and so Adam and Eli catch up. Clare then is shown in the bathroom holding the clippers.

The following day, Adam and Drew show up to find that Clare has indeed shaved her head. Adam suggests that she could try hats or scarves as Clare says she just wants to curl up and not let Eli see her. Adam however has an idea.

Miles walks into the room and asks what Tristan is doing. He’s putting up a privacy screen because now that his roommates know he’s gay he doesn’t want them to feel uncomfortable.

Alli is wandering around Paris like a lost puppy.

Imogen shows up with wigs for Clare to try on and she’s giving up saying what’s the point because she’s only going to look sicker.

Tristan walks into his room to see a mint on the pillow and the screen torn down telling him how he wasn’t making fun of him because he was gay but because of how poorly he was playing straight and that this will be a great summer.

Alli is walking around taking in the sights slightly less awkward, at least for a moment before she asks for someone to take a picture and the man takes her phone….it recovered however by a rather hot Parisian stranger.

Clare in her new blonde wig is fixing herself up waiting for Eli to show up however the nurse shows up first looking for Helen. Clare tells her that she’s seventeen and can know things herself. It’s a waver because Clare needs an MRI cause something was off in her blood work and they think things are worse. Eli then arrives for their date.

Alli’s hero brings her coffee which Alli rolls her eyes saying how even the coffee hates her. She’s broken her heel, almost got mugged, she gives up. She’s told that she shouldn’t have went around town blindly and to always make sure to put sugar in her coffee. His name is Leo he’s a barista at the coffee house and will gladly give her a tour. Alli is in love.

Eli tells Clare he loves the wig and that they don’t have to have their date. Clare wants to, she wants things to be perfect but she’s worried that she’s sick…. REALLY sick. She tells Eli about the MRI and if he wants out she won’t be mad. Eli says he doesn’t want out.
