12x17/18 Sabotage…..RECAP

Clare is giving her report about her mentorship despite being let go. Miss Oh is asking about it and she starts having flashbacks of when he was harassing her. She asks what was the biggest lesson and Clare says to never tell a story unless you have the facts to back it up however as was seen in 13x 11 she’s clearly forgotten that lesson (among other things). Alli’s impressed at how Clare faked it and she admits she doesn’t want to say that she’s been fired until she gets facts to back her up and defend her on the harassment and so she’s been sneaking off and hiding out when she’s supposed to be at the paper making everyone none the wiser.

11x28/29 Dead and Gone--RECAP

Welcome to the mid-season finale as despite the school year being over there is plenty more to see…sixteen episodes more to be exact. No, we’re not having a summer set arch….that’s saved for the clusterfuck that was the Summer arch of season thirteen….however we do get one episode set at summer’s  end as well as fourteen episodes that take place in the timespan of the entire ‘Boiling Point’ arch of summer season ten….(schools start till just before Christmas break for those who need a breakdown….) We also are candidly introduced to one of the four new freshman this episode…so keep your eyes open.

Class is over and Drew should already be sleeping in….but the new student council president is his girlfriend and this is her first big event so she owes him….it’s worth it….she’s nothing like Bianca and that whole chapter of his life is behind him. He’s with an amazing, smart, beautiful….. ‘Bianca’ Adam calls out. “No I’m with Katie,” Drew replies back however his brother soon points to the girl in question in an alleyway just off campus standing closely with Vince.

8x08/09 Lost In Love recap

This was originally aired in the states as a block opener and was billed as a ‘Valentines Special’ even though obviously in cannon the episode took place sometime mid-fall.

Jane and Danny arrive at school and its ‘Love Week’ Jane comments at how the school is decorated and Sav says he hopes to impress Anya. Jane says she’ll be solo because Spinner has to work and Alli comments that it must suck because her boyfriend won’t be around. Jane explains he’s saving up for the Police Academy (because you know on his aptitude test it did list Policeman alongside Clown and Lumberjack) and she plans to be pre law.

Spinner wakes up and finds a letter from the Academy on the table under a post it from his mom saying good luck. He doesn’t get in.

7x11 Owner of a Lonely Heart--recap

Marco and Ellie are out at a bar and Ellie is bitching about Jesse, SERIOUSLY she is….I don’t know why I thought I liked her but she’s getting pretty annoying or maybe it’s just the ship that sucks. Anyway Marco is bitching about poor service and heads to the bar to order but not before bumming cash from Ellie. He meets a guy named Devin who tells him that he needs more than a ten to wave to get attention and foots the bill. He also invites Marco to a campus PRIDE event though tells him not to bring Ellie.

4x21/22 Going Down The Road--recap

This is an interesting episode because it just feels a bit disjoined from most of the narrative of the season as a whole.

The episode opens with Alanis, Jason, and Kevin in a scene from the movie. They call cut and Kevin starts to talk to Craig and Ashley. He asks why Craig isn’t working on his song and he says how he wants to spend time with Ashley before she heads off to England for the summer.

4x11/12 Voices Cary--recap

Craig and Ashley are kissing after school and Craig asks if he’s going to see her tomorrow. Ashley comments about how her dad’s wedding seems to be taking over her life. Now before I go on I once again need to just point out that this episode originally aired in Canada in Late 2004 and in the US in Early 2005. I do this because marriage equality is a major hot topic at least stateside at present and to have two gay males having a wedding (or rather a commitment ceremony but still) almost ten years ago on a show geared towards kids and teens is utterly progressive so snaps for Canada. Anyway Ashley is listing off her duties which include going to the airport….Craig comments he likes airports….people saying hellos goodbyes I love yous. Ashley smiles asking if he was saying it to her and he teases he only says it at airports. Their moment however is cut short as Kate arrives to pick Ashley up.
